Bridging the Gap Between the Urban/Suburban Community and the Farm

Feeding the Spirit, Educating the Mind, Preserving the Community

Flint Hill Farm Educational Center, Inc. is located on Flint Hill Farm, a 28 acre preserved farm in Coopersburg, PA. We invite teachers to visit our website http://www.flinthillfarm.org. On that site , we offer a power-point overview of our grade appropriate 2 hr tour cover ing the animals and crops grown and cared for at Flint Hill Farm. March is the beginning of kidding season for our goats and time to begin welcoming our schools for the Spring tour season. April through May our gardens begin to welcome spring, the orchard trees bloom and the pastures grow green again. June through August the plants grow for harvest, the berries in the woods are ready for picking and the cows give birth to their calves. September through November is harvest season. We welcome our schools back for fall tours and Pumpkin Patch that opens the beginning of October. Each season brings with it a special appreciation of the wonder of for both plants and animals.

The cost of tour for any season is $7.00 per person for individuals over the age of 3. Parents and siblings are welcome! We have a farm store on site. We welcome anyone to visit to enjoy our farm fresh yogurt, cheeses, milk, eggs, homemade jams and jellies, and other dairy products.
