Canning Classes

Covering in detail equipment and procedure.  Miss Deb has created these classes to give everyone planning to attent the June through Aug Canning Workshops a more rounded knowledge of the Canning. Classes to be held in farmhouse to accommodate weather.

         

                

Paula Tepedino-Coopersburg Resident writes about our summer canning workshop -  Overall the workshop was a 10 for me, which means it was the highest benefit!  The space was great, the preparation area was organized and clean and set up very well for what was needed.  Instruction was clear and thorough, with lots of repetition of important steps to keep us reminded.  Having handson time to try most of the steps was very helpful.  Allowing for questions to be asked was also very helpful.  The group was very nice and had info to share.  It was my first canning experience. My first at Flint Hill Farm, too.    8-27-2013

We will cover in detail equipment and procedure.  It will give everyone atending the the Canning Workshops a more even knowledge of Canning.  Will be held in the farmhouse Dining Room.  All sessions will be from 10Am till 12 noon. Limit 15 people

 

MARCH 9TH and 23rd $15.00 - 2 hr time                                                                                 

APRIL 6th and 20th $15.00 - 2 hr time

MAY 18th and 25th $15-00- 2 hr time

June- Sunday -8th and 22nd

           Jams and Jellies 2 hours-$25.00 per person

July- Sunday 13

          Vegetables and Blanching 2 hours-$25.00 per person

July- Sunday 27th

          Corn and Peaches 2 hours-$25.00 per person

August- Sunday 3rd

            Apples and Fruit Butters 2 hours-$25.00 per person

August- Sunday 17th

            Fermentation, Pickles and Sauerkraut 2 hours- $25 per person

August- Sunday 31st

            Tomatoes-sauce and catsup 2 hours- $25.00 per person
